Ashford Motor Lodge is located at 35 Papanui Road in Merivale, Christchurch, on the edge of the CBD. The motel is an approximate 7 minute drive from Christchurch city centre and 20 minutes from Christchurch International Airport. Free off-street parking is available at the property.
Does Ashford Motor Lodge have a Pool?
Yes, the motel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, open from October to April (8.00am–8.00pm). Additional facilities include a BBQ and seating area beside the pool and guest laundry also open from 8.00am – 8.00pm.
Is Ashford Motor Lodge Dog Friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome in our downstairs rooms only. This includes a mixture of Studios, One & Two Bedroom Suites. We also have an off leash dog area at the rear of the complex to allow dogs to run freely. Please contact the motel directly when booking to confirm availability of dog-friendly rooms and any conditions that apply. There is a $20 per dog per night surcharge.

Yes, all rooms have kitchenettes including a fridge, microwave and either a cooktop or air fryer and some rooms have full kitchens including ovens. Please note if you have a preference and we will do our best to accommodate.
Yes, Ashford Motor Lodge is well equipped to host groups and sports teams. We offer larger rooms with up to 4 beds in each and also sofa beds for additional guests.
